It's never too early for Halloween at the Rayburn household!

At one point I put a knot in her dress in hopes of it not getting in her way while climbing. That's why it is weird looking... :) She can climb on that slide pretty well. She makes me a wee bit nervous however. She stood on it, you can see in one of the pics. She loves playing outside! :)

Marley took her pants off all by herself...

Finally kicked them off.

I'm not sure why she did this. She was watching Elmo and it had a section about dressing yourself and then she started tugging at her pants. There was no particular part where they were undressing themselves but I suppose she somehow got confused....:)

Doughnut Stealer.

So I got some doughnuts while in town. Got her 2 original, me some chocolate glazed and Walter some filled kind. I give her a small piece of her doughnut and I look and watch as she opens the box, chooses one of mine, proceeds to take it out and eat it. She ain't no dummy!
(Pics were taken on my phone, that's why the quality is bad)

Waiting for the devo to start

Brought her in because mosquitoes were getting her...watching everyone outside.

I can pay attention too!

I am SO not impressed with Daddy's devo. Where are the "v's?" (movies)

Marley's Hike

Rock Spring off the Trace. We saw a beaver dam and three snakes (eww). Marley was wanting to get in the water like the big kids so we finally agreed and she then plopped down. Luckily I had another pair of capris in the car. Theia (the girl in the last picture) gave Marley a "walking stick" so she and Marley played with their walking sticks in the water. Marley loves Theia.

Lock-in

We had a "mini" lock-in which means we called it off at around 12:30 p.m. Of course, Marley and I headed on home around 9:30 or so. Marley played in the nursery a lot of the lock-in.
Marley has been irritable and not feeling just completely up to par. I believe it is due to teething. She is getting her molars in. Not fun. She is still a very good and sweet girl. The sweetness is just not as evident when she is screaming and making horrible faces at her mother. :)
She does talk a lot and seems to take everything in. Today she said, "More." (wanting her milk) and I said, "please." She then repeated me and said, "please." This is something she says whenever she feels like it and that is not necessarily all the time but we are working on it. We have been watching a movie that goes over the alphabet and she loves it. Hopefully she will learn something from it and I am working with her too. She knows where her eye, mouth, nose, ear, hair, toes, knee, hand and belly button (pretty much just raises her shirt on this one) are. I think she knows head and leg too but I was just going over some of these with her and for head she reached around to the back of her neck and she would not show me where her leg was at all. Being somewhat stubborn....
She can tell you what a cow (boo), cat (meow), dog (woof), duck (quack) say. All she ever wants to do in the car is sing, 'This little light of mine.' She holds her whole hand out and moves it around because well, my child still has not learned to point with her index finger...
She is obsessed with the word baby and actual "babies" as well. (The reason I put "babies" in quotes is that pretty much any little kid is a baby to her) Our friends that sit with us at church are having a baby in November and Walter was talking about how awful it is going to be because Marley will be hollering out baby all the time. I just hope she doesn't "pat, pat" the baby too hard!
Guess that's all for now. Love everyone.
