Almost but lost...

Iron Bowl Day 2009. I don't know how many of you know that each year (starting the year before we got married) I make a hat for Walter to wear during the Auburn vs. Alabama game. Every year until last year we (Auburn) won. We almost beat them this year but alas, they came back and got a touchdown....

The hat is supposed to be homemade and tacky. :) So it's ok if you are horrified when you see it.

We have some tweaking to do on them. We don't have them lined up right but we will get them lined out maybe tomorrow! YAY LIGHTS

At one point Walter took her out of this but she got mad. She wanted to take a break I suppose. Eventually she got out and found his Diet Dr. Pepper and enjoyed some of that. Whatever keeps her busy....

We had a work day in a widow lady's yard...Marley has such a benevolent spirit so of course she came along.

Went to eat at a restaurant and somehow she managed to get grease off some random truck in the parking lot....

She climbed up on the ski ball machine....

She does not look impressed but she really did have a good time. Every once in a while she would say, "Whee!"

She was leading the animated animals in song....

Pizza, cookie cake, and rides...does not seem like a good combination to me...we will find out!

Icing from the cookie cake....I have not really ever noticed her get hyped up from sugar but she was tonight! She also was worn out so she did get to bed eventually.

Baby Beluga

So there is this song by this guy named Raffi called Baby Beluga. I don't really know all the words but I sing the "Baby Beluga" part to Marley and she has learned it and sings it in the sweetest voice. Holly was able to capture it on video. Praise Holly greatly because this was quite a feat. You will have to wait a little while in the video because it took her a little while to warm up and sing it. Listen real close! Thanks Holly!!!
