Christmas 2011

Sorry the one is positioned wrong. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We did. People showered Marley with lots of presents and she racked up at home too. She's been a good girl so I reckon she deserves it.

At one point when she was driving her car the pedal got stuck and she took off. She looked behind her and hollered, "HOW DO YOU STOP THIS THING?!" I must say that was hilarious. She won't be driving without someone near by, that's for sure.

Fall Festival Fun

Marley went to a festival at her future (hopefully) school. She got her face painted and some weird hair. She played lots of games and really enjoyed it.

Above is where I told her to do a close mouthed smile. Ha.

These were taken after the festival at Tims Ford State Park. We went to see the deer, hawk and owl.

Marley's Letter to Cinderella

There's a webpage that told of how you can send a letter to a Disney character at Disney World and they will send their picture back to you signed. I do not know if this is going to happen or not so I didn't tell Marley it would I just said we could ask for one.

She wrote part of it and I wrote the rest (obviously). I only helped her write the S in Esther. I may erased some stray marks or marks that were way too long but she did all of that by herself. Proud of her!

Wedding Story

Marley was the flower girl in our friend's wedding. She came down the aisle and did real good but didn't throw the flowers. She stood up there and would drop a petal or two then pick them up, drop some more (because the basket was full and it wasn't on purpose) and pick them up. Over and over this went. Then she looked at me and mouthed, "I have to go potty." Ha. She made it through the ceremony and I went on and took her to the potty. I told her how good she did and she said, "I didn't throw my flowers." I said, "Why didn't you? Did you forget?" She said, "Yes, maybe I can in a little bit." I said, "No Marley, the wedding is over." She started CRYING. She was so upset she hadn't thrown them. So I let her go out there while everyone was milling around and throw her flower petals.
She was so sweet and did such a GOOD job.
